Knifepoint

Knifepoint follows Jack Knife, a genuine badass with a tendency to spill blood as he kicks, punches, and stabs his way out of sticky situations. Made as a Youtube choose-your-own-adventure series, the first episode of Knifepoint (“Hanging by a Thread”) finds Jack (Billy Nicholson) at the mercy of a handful of goons and their leader (Rob Shearer).

“Oh, I disagree, Mr. Knife. In fact, I think your head just went on the Blue Light Special.”

Following two half-hour pilot projects that involved heavy planning and resources, Knifepoint was born from a desire to film something short, simple and sweet. It was shot in one day during fall 2010 with the idea being that each subsequent episode would also be produced in such a quick fashion. Though originally ten episodes were planned, this was scaled back into five scripts that make up the first season of Jack Knife’s adventures. The remaining four episodes have yet to be completed.
